We're quite busy at work, preparing reports for the national health fund.
But for a short hour or so after work I get the chance to take my pride and joy for a spin :)

Its been a long time since my last news article, so here it goes!
<img src='images/news/biliana.jpg' style='margin:5px' alt='' align='left' />
All is well in university world - NOT!
Someone somewhere decided that they MUST have a fully functional portable copy of the website, having a copy of the site was not enough. So say you made something even remotely dynamic and you are stuck having to make it somehow portable so that when the man from the university boots the CD with your site he should be able to wan... err view it in all its glory, even if its a simple blog.
What to do?! You can usually find some bloated portable apache+php package that sort of works. But what do you do when the site is using ASP.NET? You are not meant to carry around portable fully functional dynamic websites on a CD or flash drive.
Click <a href='http://ravenlabs.org/news.php?readmore=35' target='_parent'>Read more</a> for the solution to the problem.
My USBizi/EMX flashing utility for <a href='http://ghielectronics.com/' target='_blank'>GHI Electronics</a> and <a href='http://tinyclr.com/' target='_blank'>TinyCLR</a> is finally in beta stage!
I present to you FEZ Panel, the all out flashing utility for USBizi with its easy to use interface and user-friendly functionality.
<a href='http://ravenlabs.org/downloads.php?cat_id=1&download_id=18' target='_blank'><img src='http://ravenlabs.org/downloads/tinyclr/fez-panel/FEZPanel.jpg' style='margin:5px' align='left' /></a></td></tr>
I was writing a helpful flashing utility for my FEZ Domino devboard.
<span style='color:red'><strong>SHOCK AND HORROR!</strong></span> and a System.IO exception is pretty much always raised when some sort of transmission error has occurred. It is pretty common and normal to get some sort of error while transferring data, simply re-send the data and all is well, and that is exactly what the native Win32 APIs do.
Unfortunately for us .NET residents, <span style='color:red'><strong>CRASH AND BURN AND DIE</strong></span> if that happens.
<a href='http://zachsaw.blogspot.com/2010/07/net-serialport-woes.html' target='_blank'>Here</a> is a very good detailed explanation written by <a href='http://zachsaw.blogspot.com/' target='_blank'>Zach Saw</a> on what exactly causes the problem and how to fix it.
Yeah I don't post news very often, yeah I keep most of my projects secret, yeah most of them die fast... but not this one!

I give you <a href='http://www.tinyclr.com/hardware/1/fez-domino/' target='_blank'>FEZ Domino</a>! Its a devkit for embedded systems and runs the .NET Micro Framework. The device features:
* 72Mhz ARM7 Processor
* 96 KB RAM
* 512 KB Flash
* USB Host/Device
Basically I'm waiting for this to arrive and I will start developing some embedded devices(currently security systems).</td></tr></table>
Recently I've bough a magnificent joystick for use in Flight Simulator X. Now previously I've tried playing that game with a keyboard & mouse and... well it sucked.
Now thanks to this little device I'm one lucky FSX player :)

Sometime ago I read about a site called <a href="http://www.hid.im/" target="_blank">Hid.im</a>, the basic idea was that you can convert .torrent files to image files(.png) and upload them to photobucket or imageshack and then share them in forums and chats and such.
Although it was a nice site it had a few limitations, <strong>one</strong> there was no binary library that you could use in normal apps, <strong>two</strong> it only supported .torrent files, <strong>three</strong> it only supported torrents with a filesize of 250KB or less.
So I decided to create a similar library that had none of the above limitations and hence I unveil:
<center><img src='http://ravenlabs.org/storage/screenshots/EVEOnline/eve_online_logo.jpg' style='margin:5px' align='left' /></center><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
Yup, I'm playing EVE and I LIKE IT!
Feel free to contact me, contact "Theo Andrews" and MY shinny new <a href="http://ravenlabs.org/storage/EVEOnline/my-drake.png" target="_blank">DRAKE</a>.
What can I say about these fine countries? Well first off the chinese lads have <a href='http://por.tw/f2blog/index.php?load=read&id=498' target='_blank'>decided to translate my alarm clock GetUp!</a>(the old version to be correct) and they though it be a nice idea to remove ALL the references to my site and myself.
Taiwan - a country of leeches; in the past couple of months I've had an insane increase in traffic from Taiwan and China, guess they can't afford to mirror the .NET Framework that I do and to top it off they don't even mirror MY link they directly link to the file - well NO MORE.
Ever wanted to leave your computer at night to make money for you? Well now you can with CashPinata!
<img src="http://ravenlabs.org/downloads/cashpinata/cashpinata.png" style='margin:5px' align='left' />
CashPinata is a Cashfiesta bot designed to automate the task of earning Cashfiesta points. Earning a stagering 15k per day if left running an average of 20 hours.

Since <a href='http://fomportal.com/' target='_blank'>Face of Mankind</a> will be re-launched soon, the emulator project has been put on hold by the devs.
Think this is the right time for me to release my small contributing to that project - <a href='http://ravenlabs.org/downloads.php?cat_id=8&download_id=10' target='_blank'>the Launcher source</a>. Hope it helps some newbie C# programmer out there :)
I've found this lovely free space browser based mmo today. Now I know how some people would say "oh no..... not another "BUILD YOUR EMPIRE AND CONQUER THE UNIVERSE!!!!" game", well you are WRONG.
<center><a href='http://www.chosenspace.com/?ref=42598' target='_blank'><img src='http://www.ravenlabs.org/storage/cs.jpg' style='margin:5px' align='center' /></a></center>
<a href='http://www.chosenspace.com/?ref=42598' target='_blank'>Chosen Space</a> is like a miniature EVE Online, you get your ship and hello deep space mining operations, ohh no pirate raiders, bounty hunters in sight, the World Trade Fleet security task force is here!
Those are just a few of the things you can do in this game, and belive me you can do TONS more. Build your own stations and set up factories, refineries, storage bases.
Don't mistake this game for another boring empire building browser mmo, its an RPG with very deep gameplay in every possible branch.
I have been quite busy with university, I got a math project to develop.... fun fun fun.... and I've spent some time developing a launcher for <a href='http://www.fomemu.org/' target='_blank'>Face of Mankind Emulator</a> project.
So how is ZMacro's newest update going? Well it's not even grinding to a half - it's dead in the water and won't surface any time soon.
You may have noticed the theme has changed, well its not just the theme that has changed... I have upgraded the site to the new PHP-Fusion v7 so if you see any error messages please report them to me (either use the Contact Us link or email me at rav3nlabs_SYMBOL_gmail.com, replace _SYMBOL_ with @).
<strong>UPDATE:</strong> I've noticed that the theme I used up until now is not yet compatible with PHP-Fusion v7, so for the time being I will be using this one.
I am happy to announce that I have officially passed my final exams, meaning I now have a high school diploma :)
In other news - I present to you my newest creation - ZMouse !
"Put simple - a mouse emulator. Ever been in that situation where your mouse batteries die and you can't get new the same day and in the same time you absolutely need to do some work that requires a mouse. ZMouse emulates a mouse using the keyboard as a input device."
<a href="http://ravenlabs.org/downloads.php?cat_id=1&download_id=4" target="_blank">ZMacro v22.214.171.124</a>
As promised I have rewritten the core of ZMacro to use the native keybd_event API which not only works in every application, but also WORKS in all the games I tested it with (Lord of the Rings Online - Shadows of Angmar, Guild Wars, Flyff, Florensia and various single player games).
Please read the new documentation to get a better understanding of how the new system works.
I have worked to eliminate all crashes but you never know what might happen with the other person who uses it, so i have created a <a href="http://ravenlabs.org/downloads/zmacro/cr.exe" target="_blank">small tool</a> which will delete the following registry sub-key:
If you experience any other crashes, please save the crash log and send it to rav3nlabs_SYMBOL_gmail.com (replace _SYMBOL_ with @), information about your system will be very helpful.
Some people have reported that ZMacro doesn't work, that is both true and false. At the moment of development it was determined that it works perfectly fine with any window based application(such as MS Word, mIRC and various other applications).
Recently however it was determined that for unknown reasons it doesn't work with fullscreen applications(such as most games), at the time of release my testers reported that it is 100% working in World of WarCraft, today however it does not.
Therefor I have decided to change the system with which i simulate the buttons presses, currently I use the .NET Framework 2.0 System.Windows.Forms.SendKeys.SendWait(). After some investigating I have decided to go for the unmanaged keybd_event API.
Stay tuned as I progress I might release a couple of news items, thanks to the new auto-updater you will be notified immediately after I have released the new version.
Built for only 2 weeks, i present to you <b>ZMacro</b>!
"A complex macros application for World of WarCraft or any other button masher MMO. Create complex macro sets that you can use in your favorite MMO or automate the program you work with. Build-in Left Mouse button clickor."
After a slight delay the FINAL build is ready and already hosted on the internet! You can find the full version of the application in our Downloads-> Programs section.
At the moment you will be able to try out the trial version, and if you like it you could order a serial for the full version, price will be 4.99$, we should have the app in a online shop in about a week or less, so go download it, test and get ready to purchase!
